Fibromyalgia is thought to be a widespread musculoskeletal pain and fatigue disorder often accompanied by multifactorial problems such as IBS,  sleep disorders, “brain fog”, difficulty thinking and memory problems, to name but a few. It means pain in the fibrous tissues in the body. The pain comes from the connective tissues, such as the muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Most patients with fibromyalgia say that they ache all over. Their muscles may feel like they have been pulled or overworked. Sometimes the muscles twitch, at other times they burn or pain shoots along the affected tissues.

Many doctors  are unfamiliar with Fibromyalgia may do extensive testing to determine what is wrong. This creates frustration and seldom yields a diagnosis sometimes for many years because, at this time, there are no routine blood tests or X-rays that show abnormalities.  So on top of the pain and fatigue, somebody suffering with Fibromyalgia, will more often than not also be suffering from anger, frustration, despair and brain fog as well as a lack of self esteem.

Not only can hypnosis and NLP help the musculature relax (half an hour of hypnosis is deemed to be the quivalent of 2 hours deep sleep), enabling the individual to get some well-earned rest, but they can also help deal with the underlying negatives emotions that arise from suffering this misdiagnosed and much misunderstood condition. Most importantly, Hypnosis and NLP bring instant and on-going relief from pain, discomfort and distress. This enables the client to gain control, energy and more ability to manage.

Mark will record the completley tailor-made one-to-one session for the client onto a CD, which can become a core part of the individual’s regime of managing the Fibromyalgia

Here at Winning Minds, we expect these healing modalities to become increasingly recognised as the most effective means of managing Fibromyalgia; perhaps even becoming the norm within the next 5-10 years.
